Use the inbox
Browse received, unclassified, pending-review, or rejected emails and open the right account or task.
Updated
In short
The inbox combines confirmed incoming emails with messages whose account match still needs a decision. **Received** belongs to a confirmed account. **Unclassified** includes spam, automatic replies, and unknown accounts. **Pending review** links to a validation task, while **Rejected** closes a path that produced no business communication. Use filters and search before acting.
Expected result
You find an email, understand its classification state, and open the account or task that handles it.
Before you start
- Have sender, subject, or time period ready.
- Do not use inbox alone as proof of customer balance.
Procedure
- Open Inbox and select the useful period.
- Filter by Received, Unclassified, Internal, Pending review, or Rejected.
- Search the sender and open the message thread.
- Follow the account link when confirmed, or the task link when review is expected.
- After the decision, refresh and verify transition to Received or Rejected.
What Billabex does
Unclassified rows are stored without immediately creating a domain communication. Transition to Pending review, Received, or Rejected is guarded so one email cannot create competing rows.
If the result is not what you expected
- An automatic message may remain Unclassified without needing action.
- An account shown during Pending review remains only a candidate until task confirmation.
- Raw states are not rebuilt by full replay; preserve the identifier of an important old case.
