The Billabex Story: Artificial Intelligence for Your Cash Flow

The story begins at Beekast

In 2015, Yassine Chabli and Quentin Georget founded Beekast, a SaaS solution designed to revolutionize meetings and training sessions. It was a beautiful journey: the company grew from an initial capital of €1,000 to over €1 million in ARR by 2017, raised €5 million in 2019, and counted 1,300 corporate clients worldwide before being acquired by saas.group in 2023.

Yet, throughout these years of growth, one persistent problem ate away at cash flow: late payments. Small accounts, large accounts—client size didn't matter; invoices dragged on. The team spent considerable time following up, negotiating, and tracking. A constant mental load diverting energy from what mattered most: growing the company.

Meeting Gilles

In 2022, Quentin joined PayFit as Director of Engineering Solutions. There, he met Gilles Sauvageot-Imbert, a Product Manager passionate about optimizing business processes. For nearly two years, they collaborated closely and shared the same observation: SMEs all suffer from the same ailment—unpaid bills and late payments that threaten their cash flow, and sometimes their very survival.

February 2024: The Birth of Billabex

Building on their experience at Beekast and PayFit and their conviction that artificial intelligence can radically transform business management, they decided to tackle the problem head-on. In February 2024, Yassine co-founded Billabex with Quentin and Gilles. The idea was simple but ambitious: create an AI agent that intelligently automates invoice follow-ups while preserving customer relationships.

Where traditional solutions fail, Billabex brings a revolutionary approach. The AI agent doesn't follow fixed rules: it learns, adapts, personalizes every follow-up, analyzes payment behaviors, and communicates empathetically across all channels (email, postal mail). The result: companies collect on their invoices faster without spending time or energy on it.

A Complementary Team

Yassine Chabli, CEO, is the Billabex evangelist, always on the move to introduce the solution to the market. A 100% Remote Team

Billabex operates in a fully remote mode: Yassine evangelizes the market from Paris, Quentin develops the platform from Nantes, and Gilles builds the product with clients from Lyon. This geographic organization reflects our conviction that modern work no longer needs to be constrained by location.

However, we don't overlook the importance of human connection. Every three months, the team meets in Paris for a team-building seminar. These gatherings strengthen cohesion, align strategic vision, and allow us to share successes and challenges in a collective dynamic essential to our performance.

Skyrocketing Growth 🚀

Since its inception, Billabex has racked up successes and accolades:

‍April 2025: Integration into France Digitale, the largest community of startups and VCs in Europe.

‍May 2025: Creation of Revoptim, the Billabex subsidiary dedicated to debt collection, and integration into the Hub France IA mapping of innovative AI startups.

‍June 2025: Finalist at the Paris-Saclay Spring at École Polytechnique and ranked in the top 3 favorite tools for CFOs according to Ludovic Roptus.

‍November 2025: Entry into Station F’s FUTURE40 program, a distinction rewarding the 40 most high-performing startups among the 1,000 hosted in the world's largest incubator. That is just 4%. A recognition that testifies to the team's hard work and client trust.

🎯 Our Mission: Freeing Entrepreneurs from the Mental Load of Unpaid Invoices

In France, late payments are a scourge that particularly affects SMEs. Billabex was created to put an end to this. Our mission is to free entrepreneurs from this mental load by entrusting our AI agents with the management of follow-ups and collections, so they can focus on the essential: growing their business.

Unlike automatic reminder algorithms that follow fixed rules, the Billabex AI agent learns and adapts continuously. It personalizes follow-ups, analyzes behaviors, and answers client questions intelligently and empathetically, improving both efficiency and customer satisfaction.

The Future Looks Exciting

Being recognized among the most innovative startups in the sector pushes us to aim even higher. This distinction commits us to continuing our fight against unpaid invoices and late payments—a commitment we embody daily.

A big thank you to our clients who trust us, to Station F and all the ecosystem players supporting us, and especially to our exceptional team making all this possible.

What’s next? We’re just getting started.
